About Me
Hi, I’m Chloe, a qualified counsellor, based in Bristol and North Somerset, offering in-person and online counselling to adults experiencing relational difficulties, addiction issues, and the impact of trauma.
I hold a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Counselling from Bath Spa University. During my degree, I gained experience working within a range of organisations such as a residential rehabilitation centre, a community counselling service, and a holistic private counselling service, meaning I gained a vast knowledge of different counselling modalities and techniques. This experience allows me to work integratively, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning I prioritise emotional safety, collaboration, and working at a pace that feels right for you. I can also implement CBT skills, solution-focused methods, compassion-focused therapy, or acceptance-commitment therapy into our work. To find out how counselling helps, click here.
Alongside my professional training, I bring an understanding shaped by lived experience. Like many therapists, my journey into counselling was informed by navigating my own mental health challenges, something that is often referred to as the wounded healer. This insight allows me to work with empathy and depth, while keeping therapy firmly focused on you and your process.
I aim to offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on for you and feel genuinely supported.
If you are considering counselling, you are welcome to get in touch or book a session to see whether working together feels right by contacting me here.
